His agent, César Arguello, revealed that two official offers for Pitta have been made, both of which were turned down by Cuiabá. These bids came from Fluminense, which sought to acquire 60% of Pitta's rights, and Bahia. It is reported that Cuiabá is seeking a fee of 6 million euros (around R$ 38 million), although this amount has not been officially verified by the agent. Pitta is under contract with Cuiabá until the end of 2026, but the club's financial difficulties following relegation might compel them to sell if a suitable offer is presented.
