İrfan Can Eğribayat Transfer from Fenerbahçe to Ajax
Ajax has shown an interest in acquiring Irfan Can Egribayat as they face uncertainty regarding the futures of Remko Pasveer and Jay Gorter. The club has reportedly added Egribayat to their list of potential signings, with a chance that he might compete with Matheus for a starting spot. Matheus, who is currently on loan from SC Braga, has a purchase option set at 2.5 million euros. Egribayat's market value is estimated to be around 1 million euros. Currently, the Turkish goalkeeper serves as a backup at Fenerbahçe, behind the injured Dominik Livakovic, which has given Egribayat the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities in recent games. His impressive performances have caught the attention of several clubs, including Ajax, as well as teams from Spain and Italy such as Real Betis, Sevilla, and Bologna. Egribayat was signed by Fenerbahçe from Göztepe in the summer of 2023 for 1.2 million euros, and the club is now contemplating extending his contract.
