Ionuț Panțîru leaving FCSB?

Ionuț Panțîru officially parted ways with FCSB and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with FC Voluntari. The announcement was made on Sunday, January 26, at 21:00, during the FCSB vs. UTA Arad match, which was part of the 23rd round of the Romanian Superliga. The Ilfov group confirmed the transfer via an Instagram post, wishing the left-back success at his new team. Panțîru will join FC Voluntari in their training camp in Antalya.

Gigi Nețoiu, the owner of FC Voluntari, revealed that he transferred Ionuț Panțîru from FCSB and offered him a better contract than he had at the Romanian champions. Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, had already announced Panțîru's departure from the team, indicating that he would no longer rely on Panțîru, William Baeten, and Daniel Popa. The players were to be excluded from the LPF list and would not have the right to play in the Superliga.

Ionuț Panțîru has been informed by FCSB's financier, Gigi Becali, that he is no longer in the club's plans and needs to find a new team. This decision comes as a result of FCSB's need to make room for new signings Lukas Zima, Juri Cisotti, and Kiki.

Contract terminated with FCSB.

Gigi Becali previously confirmed that left-back Ionuț Panțîru will leave FCSB in the winter.
