Akron Togliatti, a top division Russian club, announced the permanent signing of Ionut Nedelcearu from Palermo. This marks a return to Russia for the Romanian, who previously played for Ufa for four seasons with 75 appearances. He has signed a contract until 2027.

Ionut Nedelcearu is also garnering attention from Dinamo Bucarest, the club where he began his career and made 111 appearances before leaving Romania. The president of Dinamo Bucarest, Andrei Nicolescu, stated that bringing Nedelcearu back to the club would be a good opportunity. However, any potential transfer would depend on Nedelcearu's contract situation with Palermo. If he does not renew with Palermo, Dinamo Bucarest will explore the conditions to sign him.
