I. Pittas Transfer from AIK to CSKA Sofia
AIK is open to selling Ioannis Pittas due to foreign interest, with CSKA Sofia being one of the interested clubs. Pittas was not included in the training match against Viktoria Plzen partly due to the interest in him, as confirmed by sporting director Thomas Berntsen to Sportbladet.
Sportbladet's transfer expert, Daniel 'Disco' Kristoffersson, reported that CSKA Sofia plans to submit a new bid for AIK's striker, Ioannis Pittas. AIK has been in negotiations regarding offers for Pittas, having received two bids in the past week. Although a bid from CSKA Sofia is expected, AIK's sporting director, Thomas Berntsen, indicated that previous offers were unsatisfactory, which led AIK to make a counter-offer. Pittas, identified as AIK's top candidate for an outgoing transfer, has a contract that expires at the end of November. AIK is reportedly asking for around 20 million kronor for the 28-year-old striker. Interest in Pittas mainly comes from clubs in Asia and Eastern Europe, with Olympiakos not being a current contender.
