Ilija Nestorovski has extended his contract with Slaven Belupo until the conclusion of the next season. He joined the team at the start of the current season after an eight-year stint in Italy, where he played for clubs like Palermo, Udinese, and Ascoli. Although he missed the final six rounds of the first half of the season due to injury, he impressed during the preparations by scoring a hat-trick against Primorje, helping Slaven Belupo secure third place in the Arena Cup. Nestorovski conveyed his happiness about the new contract, mentioning that he feels at home in Koprivnica and that he signed the contract without hesitation, even without reading it.
