Igor Postonjski, the captain and a key midfielder of NK Varaždin, has mutually terminated his contract with the club. He will join Tractor, a club in Iran managed by former Croatian U21 national team coach Dragan Skočić. Skočić hopes Postonjski's arrival will strengthen his team and help achieve quality results in the Iranian Pro League.

Igor Postonjski, the former captain of Varaždin, is transferring to Tractor Sazi, an Iranian club recently taken over by former Croatian U-21 national team coach Dragan Skočić. The transfer fee is reportedly 200,000 euros. Postonjski had a significant impact at Varaždin, playing 87 matches and scoring 17 goals. Despite a severe injury in the 2022/23 season, he rehabilitated and returned to full fitness at the start of the 2023/24 season.

Igor Postonjski has joined the Iranian first division club Tractor, which is managed by Dragan Skočić, the former coach of the Croatian U-21 national team. His departure is a significant loss for NK Varaždin as he was an important player for the team. Postonjski has signed a contract for one year plus an additional year.

Igor Postonjski has received a two-year contract from Tractor. Varaždin agreed to the transfer to allow their captain to earn more in his career.
