Ibrahim Maza Transfer from Hertha BSC to Leicester City
Ibrahim Maza, an 18-year-old Algerian national player and the most valuable player in the 2nd Bundesliga with a market value of 8 million Euros, is reportedly on the wishlist of several Premier League clubs, including Leicester. Maza is currently under contract with Hertha until 2027, but it is suggested that if Hertha does not advance to the Bundesliga, his stay until the end of his contract is unlikely. It has been reported that there is a release clause in his contract, which would allow him to leave for a base amount of 9.5 million Euros starting from the summer of 2025, with the possibility of additional payments based on his number of national and international appearances for the new club.
Leicester City is also reportedly keen on joining the race for Hertha BSC's Ibrahim Maza. The club would need to meet Hertha's asking price of around 25 million Euros for a transfer during the winter window. Maza's contract with Hertha was recently extended until 2027.
Hertha BSC is contemplating the sale of their homegrown talent, Ibrahim Maza, for a substantial amount. Back in May, the transfer fee was rumored to be between eight to ten million euros. However, it is now being suggested by 'CaughtOffside' that the price tag could be between 20 to 25 million euros. Among the potential buyers, Leicester City showed interest in Maza during the summer transfer window. The 18-year-old has been delivering outstanding performances this season, contributing to five goals in eleven league games. His contract with Hertha is valid until 2027.
Premier League club Leicester City has shown interest in Ibrahim Maza and has scouted him at the Berlin Olympic Stadium. Ibrahim Maza, who wants to leave Hertha BSC, is valued at 5 million Euros.
