Ibrahim Aliyu Transfer from Houston Dynamo to Columbus Crew
Ibrahim Aliyu has been transferred from Houston Dynamo to Columbus Crew for a base fee of 395,000 euros, with the potential for the fee to rise by an additional 700,000 euros if certain contractual conditions are fulfilled. Aliyu has signed a contract with Columbus Crew that lasts until the end of the calendar year, with an option for a two-year extension. Columbus Crew's General Manager, Issa Tall, conveyed his happiness about Aliyu's addition to the team, noting that Aliyu's experience in MLS and on the international stage are significant assets. Previously, Aliyu joined Houston Dynamo for a fee exceeding two million euros and was sold after netting 12 goals and providing nine assists across 89 appearances. At Columbus Crew, he will be joining another former HNL player, the Ukrainian Jevgen Čeberko.
