Ibrahim Adel Transfer from Pyramids FC to Getafe

Getafe is interested in Ibrahim Adel but currently lacks the financial resources to meet the €3 million demand by Pyramids FC.

Ibrahim Adel, a 23-year-old Egyptian winger currently playing for Pyramids FC, is attracting interest from several clubs. His impressive performance record includes 39 goals and 14 assists in 147 appearances. Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri reports that Adel is interested in moving to Spain, with Getafe showing the most concrete interest. Adel is contracted with Pyramids FC until 2029, but the deal could be finalized for around €3 million, plus a resale percentage.

Adel had previously arrived in Spain for a medical examination with Getafe, pressuring Pyramids FC to accept the offer. However, negotiations failed as Pyramids found Getafe's offer too low. Getafe recently renewed their interest with a loan offer of $500,000 and a purchase option of $2.5 million, but the transfer failed due to confusion caused by Pyramids sending a third agent to conclude the negotiations.

Ibrahim Adel was on his way to join Getafe from Pyramids FC. However, Club Brugge is attempting to hijack this transfer. Adel has 14 caps for Egypt and a contract with Pyramids FC until 2029. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 2 million euros.

Getafe has shown interest in acquiring Ibrahim Adel, a 23-year-old Egyptian left winger. It was reported that last summer, Adel traveled to Spain without the consent of his club, Pyramids, and even completed a medical examination before returning to Egypt when an agreement could not be finalized. Egyptian media reported that Getafe has proposed a loan deal until the end of the season, including an obligatory purchase for 2.5 million euros. Nevertheless, Pyramids is demanding 5 million euros, and Getafe currently considers the deal to be 'very difficult.' In the past, both parties had agreed on a loan with an obligatory purchase clause, but the deal fell through when Getafe altered the terms at the last moment to a loan without the purchase obligation.

The Egyptian winger, 23, was close to moving to Getafe on deadline day. The two clubs had agreed to an initial loan move with a fee of €350k to be paid now and with a €3.5m obligation to buy fee next summer. However, Pyramids wanted closer to €1m for the loan fee and a 40 per cent sell on clause, which killed the deal. Getafe’s sporting director Ruben Reyes confirmed that negotiations had stopped and the transfer would not be implemented.
