Hugo Larsson Transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester City
Sky Germany state that City are in talks for Larsson as they try to tee up a £50m deal.
According to 90min, Manchester City is reportedly interested in signing Hugo Larsson, a midfielder from Eintracht Frankfurt. The club has entered the competition to acquire Larsson, who has garnered attention for his outstanding performance since transferring from Malmo in 2023, having scored six goals this season. It is understood that City scouts are well-acquainted with Eintracht's matches and may prioritize strengthening their midfield this summer, following their focus on defense and attack earlier in January. Should City decide to pursue Larsson, the transfer is expected to be slightly more economical compared to their January acquisition of Omar Marmoush. Eintracht is said to be demanding €60 million for Larsson, who is under contract until 2029.
Manchester City, managed by Pep Guardiola, has shown interest in signing Hugo Larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt. The club has informed both the player and Eintracht Frankfurt about their interest. Initial discussions have already taken place. Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director Markus Krösche demands at least 60 million euros for Larsson.
