The player, who has 29 caps and 1 goal for the Iceland national team, was recently playing in Italy's Serie B with Carrarese. He has previously played for clubs including Pisa, Brondby, and Goteborg, and is a graduate of PSV Eindhoven's academy. After successfully completing the necessary medical and performance tests, he signed a new contract with Volos and will immediately join the rest of the team.
