According to UOL, Corinthians is very close to finalizing the deal, with an agreement with the player already in advanced stages. However, it is still unclear what Parma's decision will be. Hernani still has one year left on his contract with the Emilian club, and it seems unlikely that the Crusaders would let the midfielder go free of charge twelve months ahead of the natural expiry of his agreement. Especially since, as is known, coach Pecchia values the player and would like to confirm him also in the top series.
