Héctor Fort, an 18-year-old right-back from FC Barcelona, was presented with a tempting offer to join Como in Serie A, where Cesc Fàbregas is the coach. However, Fort decided to stay with Barcelona. The offer was made during the winter transfer window, which concluded on February 3rd. Currently, Fort serves as a substitute for Jules Koundé and has participated in eleven official matches, starting in only two of them. The offer from Como included a chance to join Álex Valle, another Barcelona academy graduate, who was loaned to the Italian club. Despite having limited playing time under coach Hansi Flick, Fort remains determined to achieve his dream of succeeding at Barcelona, where he made his first-team debut last season under Xavi Hernández. He has recently extended his contract with Barcelona until 2026.
