H. Delcroix leaving Burnley?

Hannes Delcroix is being linked with a move to FC Metz. The French club is reportedly negotiating a loan deal with an option to buy for the Belgian international. Delcroix has not played this season for Burnley due to injuries and is looking for opportunities elsewhere.

The Clarets are considering the profile of Belgian defender Hannes Delcroix. Aged 25, he was recruited in 2023 by Vincent Kompany when he was coaching Burnley. Delcroix has played only 12 matches with the current 3rd place team in the Championship. He could move to France on loan with an option to buy.

Standard Liege showed interest in acquiring Hannes Delcroix on a loan basis. However, Delcroix is not interested in returning to Belgium, as he prefers to establish himself abroad. Burnley is open to a loan without a purchase option, hoping Delcroix can gain match fitness. Scott Parker from Burnley confirmed the club's willingness to loan him to another English club.

Hannes Delcroix, a former Anderlecht player, was offered by Burnley to Standard Liege. However, Delcroix has firmly rejected the possibility of returning to Belgium and joining Standard Liege this winter. Despite his lack of playing time this season and injury struggles, Delcroix is looking to force a winter transfer elsewhere.
