Hampus Finndell Transfer from Viking to Djurgården
Hampus Finndell is confirmed to make a comeback to Djurgården. After a challenging overseas stint, he reportedly expressed immense joy about returning. Finndell, who is only 24, had two overseas stints, with the latest starting in February 2024 when Djurgården loaned him to Eintracht Braunschweig. Due to limited playtime in Germany, Djurgården sold him to Viking in Norway last summer. After only six starts in the Norwegian Eliteserien, Finndell is now set to return to Djurgården. The news was confirmed by Djurgården on Wednesday evening. Finndell reportedly expressed his excitement and readiness to contribute to the team with the experience he gained abroad. Djurgården's sports director Bosse Andersson expressed strong confidence in Finndell's potential as a key player for the team. Finndell has played 80 Allsvenskan matches, scoring 13 goals and making 2 assists.
