The 18-year-old Malian had participated with the RSCA Futures in a tournament in the Netherlands a few weeks prior to prove his abilities. It is anticipated that Makalou will sign a long-term contract at Neerpede. This move would see the record champion triumph over RB Salzburg and Chelsea, who were also interested in securing his signature.
