Halid Djankpata Transfer from Everton U21 to Spezia
Spezia is working to sign Halid Djankpata from Everton. The deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Spezia has decided to accelerate negotiations to bring Halid Djankpata, a 2005-born midfielder currently at Everton, to Italy. The player is reportedly eager to return to Italy and play in a more competitive environment compared to Everton's Under 23 team, where he played a match against Chelsea yesterday. Contacts between the parties began a few days ago and have continued in recent hours to finalize the deal and allow the player to return to his homeland and be available to coach Luca D'Angelo. Spezia could offer him more first-team opportunities.
Halid Djankapata, a midfielder born in 2005 and part of Italy's Under 19 team, is the captain of Everton's youth team. He has made 33 appearances with four goals for the Under 18 team and 35 appearances with three goals for the Under 21 team. Spezia has monitored him closely and initiated the first contacts to try to sign him in the last week of the transfer window.
