Reports indicate that Olympiacos has successfully negotiated the transfer of Gustavo Furtado from Lamia for the upcoming summer period. The 24-year-old Brazilian has shown remarkable performance this season, netting six goals and contributing one assist in 19 matches. Observing his outstanding performances, Olympiacos decided to secure his transfer. Furtado had joined Lamia as a free agent after Panathinaikos' second team, where he had previously played, ceased its operations. His performances drew the attention of the Piraeus club, leading them to hastily conclude the agreement with Lamia. Although the transfer is scheduled for the summer, Furtado is presently recovering from an injury and was not available for Lamia's squad in their match against OFI. It is yet to be determined if he will join Olympiacos directly or be loaned out to further develop his skills and keep up his match fitness.
