G. Isaksen Transfer from Lazio to Celtic
Gustav Isaksen disclosed that a move to Celtic was never seriously considered. The Swedish winger had been discussed by Parkhead scouts before the transfer window closed. His club, Lazio, were only open to a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the deal. Isaksen mentioned that he had no intention of leaving the club during the summer, irrespective of any interest, as he found the prospect of leaving 'boring' after spending a year settling in at Lazio.
