Gustaf Norlin Transfer from IFK Göteborg to ŁKS Łódź

ŁKS Łódź has announced the signing of Gustaf Norlin from IFK Göteborg. The Polish club successfully secured the Swedish forward over competing clubs from Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus, acquiring him through a permanent transfer. Norlin has signed a contract lasting until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional year. Dominik Jarosz, the manager of the scouting department, mentioned that Norlin is expected to bring significant quality to the offensive line and is versatile, being able to play on the wing, as a forward, or as an attacking central midfielder.

Gustaf Norlin is reportedly on the verge of joining ŁKS Łódź from IFK Göteborg, according to Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl. The transfer is said to be nearing completion after Norlin turned down opportunities to move to Greece, Turkey, or Cyprus. This potential move to Poland would represent his first international challenge, as he has previously only played for domestic clubs. The 28-year-old forward, who became part of IFK Göteborg in February 2021, has scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 122 matches, but has yet to secure any trophies. His transfer would be the third winter addition for ŁKS Łódź, following the acquisitions of Koki Hinokio from Stal Mielec and Kacper Terlecki from Zagłębie Lubin.
