Heerenveen chief executive Ferry de Haan is hopeful of concluding a deal to sign Celtic outcast Gustaf Lagerbielke. The Dutch club's CEO expressed optimism to the Leeuwarder Courant, stating that while the deal was not yet finalized, they were hopeful it would work out. De Haan mentioned that with Pawel Bochniewicz and Sam Kersten, the team currently had two central defenders. He added that Mateja Milovanovic was still behind them but needed some time, emphasizing their aim to have a strong line-up in the center of defence.
