Chelsea plan to loan Guela Doue to BlueCo affiliates Strasbourg after signing him from Rennes.

The French club is currently negotiating for Guela Doue, born in 2002 and owned by Rennes. The operation is well underway but has not yet reached the final white smoke.

Guela Doué (21 years old) is a priority for Strasbourg. An agreement between Rennes and Strasbourg, as well as between the player's agent and Strasbourg, has already been reached. The right-back has also traveled to Strasbourg for his medical examination. However, some details still need to be finalized to complete the transfer.

Rennes' right-back, Guéla Doué, is set to transfer to Racing Strasbourg for a fee of 6.5 million euros, with an additional 2 million euros in bonuses. Strasbourg has been eager to secure the services of the 21-year-old Ivorian international and has successfully reached an agreement with Rennes. Initial negotiations were hampered by Rennes' demands and Julien Stéphan's strategy to wait, especially since the Breton club had already sold several players, including Belocian, Terrier, and Le Fée. Nevertheless, the deal was finalized with the Alsace club following persuasive efforts from Liam Rosenior.
