Gonçalo Franco leaving Moreirense?
Gonçalo Franco, midfielder, has officially moved from Moreirense to Swansea. The transfer is subject to international team authorization. Franco signed a four-year contract with Swansea and will wear the number 17 jersey.
Moreirense is seeking to obtain at least 2.5 million euros for the transfer of Gonçalo Franco. Several clubs have shown interest by contacting the sporting director for more contractual details, but no formal proposals have been made yet.
Gonçalo Franco is expected to leave Moreirense, with Turkish club Galatasaray among the interested parties. His contract is set to expire in a year and he is expected to move in the next transfer window.
Gonçalo Franco, the most valuable player of the squad at the moment, with two goals and four assists in 35 games (standing out in several as the best on the field) will be the most coveted of the squad and has a strong chance of staying in the Liga.
In Portugal, SC Braga is also closely following Gonçalo Franco, who is also arousing interest abroad.
