Goduine Koyalipou Transfer from CSKA Sofia to Lens

RC Lens has completed the signing of Goduine Koyalipou. The 24-year-old forward was performing impressively at CSKA Sofia with 14 goals in 16 league matches since joining last summer from Beveren. RC Lens activated the purchase option for 2 million euros. Koyalipou arrived at Lens on Tuesday and is scheduled for a medical examination on Wednesday. If successful, he will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

According to the reliable French newspaper L'Equipe, Goduine Koyalipou is very close to reaching an agreement with Lens. The club is currently in fourth place in the domestic league, and his goals would be beneficial for their pursuit of a Champions League spot next season. Lens would pay a transfer fee of only two million euros, which is the player's release clause.

Goduine Koyalipou, a forward from CSKA Sofia, was reportedly a target for Dinamo, but the transfer to Dinamo will not occur. L'Equipe reported that the Central African Republic international is set to sign for Lens, a team ranked seventh in the French league, in a transfer deal worth two million euros. This season, Koyalipou has been performing excellently in the Bulgarian league, scoring 14 goals in 16 appearances. He joined Sofia last summer from Belgian club Beveren for one million euros. Lens intends to bring him in to assist in competing for European qualification spots.

RC Lens is looking to bolster their offensive line due to inefficiency, having netted only 19 goals in 16 matches. They have set their sights on Central African international striker Goduine Koyalipou, who is currently with CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria and has achieved 15 goals and 2 assists in 17 matches this season. It is anticipated that Lens will pay the 2 million euros release clause. The 24-year-old, who was born in Bangui, joined CSKA Sofia this summer from Beveren and was previously developed at Niort, with playing periods at Lausanne-Sport and Avranches.
