There has been contact between a Russian reporter and the side of Ivan Savvidis, indicating interest from Girona for the international attacking midfielder, Kostas Konstantelias. Although there were approaches, PAOK does not currently have a need to sell any player due to previous sales, including that of Tzimas. Kostas Konstantelias decided not to leave last year.

According to Russian journalist Ivan Karpov, PAOK is preparing to sell Giannis Konstantelias to the Spanish club Girona this summer. Konstantelias has scored seven goals and made one assist in 41 matches. The transfer is expected to take place in the summer.

Girona, part of the City Football Group, showed interest in Giannis Konstantelias around late May to early June. They were willing to pay around 10 million euros with an additional 2 million euros as bonuses and a resale percentage to PAOK. PAOK rejected the offer and did not enter negotiations.
