Gianni Bruno leaving Eyüpspor?
Gianni Bruno, a 33-year-old player renowned for his goal-scoring prowess at Zulte Waregem and STVV, became available for a free transfer this month after he ended his contract with Eyüpspor due to limited playing opportunities. Although there were speculations about his potential move to Belgian clubs Charleroi and Westerlo, he ultimately opted not to return to Belgium and instead decided to remain in Turkey. On Wednesday, it was reported that he had signed a one and a half year contract with Igdir FK. The team, currently positioned seventeenth in the Turkish second division, is in need of his goal-scoring skills to help them in their battle against relegation.
Gianni Bruno is currently playing for Eyüpspor but is allowed to leave due to financial problems at the club. Charleroi is very interested in acquiring him to strengthen their attack during the winter transfer window. They face competition from Westerlo, who have already submitted a written offer to Eyüpspor.
