Germán Valera, who was let go by Valencia, is attracting interest from Gaziantep in Turkey among other clubs. The new coach, Carlos Corberán, has reportedly told Valera that he does not feature in the plans for the second half of the season. Valera, having developed at Atlético Madrid, departed the club last summer following four consecutive loan spells and joined Valencia on a free transfer. Despite Valencia's challenges at the lower end of La Liga, Valera could not secure a regular place in the team, accumulating only 288 minutes over eleven matches, with just three starts. In addition to Gaziantep, Portuguese club Arouca has expressed interest and has even made a proposal for the 22-year-old Spaniard, competing with several second-tier Spanish clubs.
