Geovany Quenda Transfer from Sporting CP to Juventus

Juventus is interested in signing Geovany Quenda, who is represented by Jorge Mendes. Mendes is planning fresh talks with a number of clubs to engineer a major transfer.

TEAMtalk confirms that Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Juventus are keen on signing Quenda as they view him as a potential future superstar. United's interest predates Amorim's arrival, but the new manager may give them an advantage in securing his signature. Amorim has promised not to sign any Sporting players in January but hasn't ruled out a summer move.

Juventus is showing significant interest in Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP, but they face increasing competition from Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool, who are also keen on acquiring the young talent. The transfer process is complicated by Quenda's age, as he will not turn 18 until April, making the summer transfer window the earliest opportunity for a move. Sources indicate that Sporting CP is hesitant to sell, and the release clause in Quenda's contract, set at 100 million euros, is regarded as too high by the clubs interested in him.

Juventus are keen on signing Quenda as they view him as a player who could become a superstar in the future. However, Quenda has a €100m release clause in his contract which is considered too high, and Sporting are very reluctant to allow him to leave. The transfer cannot happen before the summer transfer window as Quenda is still only 17 and his suitors will have to wait until April to sign him.

Geovany Quenda, a forward born in 2007 from Sporting Lisbona, has attracted interest from numerous teams, including Juventus. His agent, Igor Campedelli, confirmed this during an interview with Tuttosport. Campedelli stated that before Quenda signed his first professional contract at the age of 16, all major clubs in Europe, both foreign and Italian, had expressed interest in him. He explained that Geovany, together with his family, decided to continue his association with Sporting, choosing to prioritize the 'romantic' aspect over the economic one.
