Kyiv's Dynamo officially announced the sale of Ukrainian national team goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan to Saudi club Al-Shabab. The 30-year-old goalkeeper spent his entire professional career at Dynamo Kyiv, starting from the youth academy. During his time at Dynamo, he won the Ukrainian championship, twice the Cup, and three times the Ukrainian Super Cup, and played in the Champions League and Europa League.
Georgiy Bushchan, the goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team and Dynamo Kyiv, has arrived in Riyadh to sign a contract with Al-Shabab, a team in the Saudi Arabian top league. It was previously reported that Bushchan had agreed to a contract with the new club. This marks the first time the Ukrainian goalkeeper has left the Ukrainian Premier League, having spent his entire professional career at Dynamo Kyiv with 177 matches across all competitions.

Bushchan is set to sign a 2.5-year contract with the Saudi club. Transfermarkt has estimated the transfer value of the 30-year-old Bushchan at 7 million euros. His current contract with Dynamo Kyiv is valid until the summer of 2027. Earlier, reports indicated that Dynamo and Al-Shabab had come to an agreement regarding Bushchan's transfer. In the ongoing season, Bushchan has participated in 27 matches for Dynamo Kyiv across all competitions, allowing 30 goals.
