Gedson Fernandes: Beşiktaş Contract Extension
Beşiktaş has made the decision to extend Gedson Fernandes' contract, which was initially due to expire in 2027, by an additional three years. This decision follows his enhanced performance under the new leadership of Solskjaer. The club president, Serdal Adalı, engaged in discussions with Gedson's manager amid interest from several clubs, including the prominent Italian club Milan. They reached an agreement to extend the contract until 2030, alongside an increase in his salary to 1.7 million Euros. Gedson has been part of Beşiktaş since the 2022-23 season and has contributed 14 goals and 10 assists in 116 matches over three seasons.
Beşiktaş aims to acquire 100% of Gedson Fernandes' transfer rights from Benfica, which currently holds a 50% share. The club plans to extend his contract based on his current annual salary of 2 million euros.
