Gastón Pereiro, a 29-year-old Uruguayan offensive midfielder, is reportedly on the verge of signing with Bari, a club in Serie B, according to the Italian press. Pereiro had previously attracted interest from Rapid and Cosenza, another team in Italy's second tier. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio indicated that Pereiro has received a contract offer valid until 2027, with an option for an additional season. Back in 2018, Pereiro was valued at 15 million euros when he was with PSV Eindhoven and joined Genoa three months ago after a brief period without a club.

Bari has initiated the first contacts with Genoa for the transfer of Gaston Pereiro, a Uruguayan attacking midfielder. He was close to moving to Puglia during the summer.
