Cavese has officially signed midfielder Gaetano Vitale from Sorrento. Born on August 4, 2001, in Castellammare di Stabia, Vitale is versatile in various midfield positions. He represented Sorrento from 2018 to 2020, playing a key role in their promotion to Lega Pro with 55 appearances and 5 goals. Following this, he joined Foggia, where he made 30 appearances and netted 2 goals. Vitale continued his Lega Pro career with stints at Seregno and Gubbio before returning to Sorrento last season, where he made 33 appearances and scored 4 goals.

Gaetano Vitale will leave Sorrento after one season to join Cavese. He will sign a three-year contract valid until June 2027. The transfer is a permanent move.
