Frenkie de Jong Transfer from FC Barcelona to Milan

Milan has reportedly made an offer to Barcelona for Frenkie De Jong, as reported by El Nacional. The offer is said to consist of 25 million euros in fixed fees, with an additional 10 million euros in bonuses related to appearances and team objectives. Barcelona, however, has rejected this offer, stating they demand at least 45 million euros in total valuation. De Jong, who has only made 16 appearances this season and started in 5 of those under coach Hansi Flick, is considered a potentially valuable addition to Milan's midfield. Despite Flick's recent positive remarks about De Jong's performance in a 5-1 victory over Betis Siviglia in the Copa del Rey, the player remains on the fringes at Barcelona. With his contract set to expire on June 30, 2026, and Barcelona looking to free up space for new signings, De Jong's departure is still a possibility if a suitable offer is made. Milan views him as a crucial component in a 4-2-3-1 formation, potentially advancing Reijnders to play behind the striker.
