Frederic Baum has departed Alemannia Aachen to join Eintracht Hohkeppel in the Regionalliga West. Baum, who played 67 games for Aachen in the Regionalliga, moved up to the 3. Liga last summer but managed only a 25-minute appearance this season. He leaves Aachen with the aim of returning sooner rather than later. Eintracht Hohkeppel's sporting director, Kevin Theisen, expressed excitement about securing Baum, stating that he believes Baum's mentality and playstyle will strengthen their defense. Baum himself conveyed that he feels positive following discussions with the coach and management and is eager to help the team overcome their five-point deficit to safety in the league.
