François Régis Mughe leaving Olympique Marseille II?
François Mughe, a 20-year-old right-footed Cameroonian winger, is transferring to Athens Kallithea from Marseille. The transfer was announced by his manager before the club could make an official announcement. Mughe will join Athens Kallithea on loan. The agreement includes a high purchase clause of 2 million euros. If Athens Kallithea activates this clause, Marseille will retain a 40% resale percentage.
Athens Kallithea reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Marseille for the loan of 20-year-old French winger François Mughe. The news was first reported by Santi Aouna from 'FootMercato', a reputable source. Mughe, who mainly plays on the right wing, was signed by Marseille in 2022 from Brasseries in his home country when he was 18. He has appeared nine times for Marseille's first team, including a match against Panathinaikos in the Champions League qualifiers, where he scored one goal. In the latter half of the previous season, he made five appearances with Dunkerque in Ligue 2. This season, he has played three times for Marseille's second team. Athens Kallithea is anticipated to finalize Mughe's acquisition within the next 24 hours.
François-Régis Mughe, a 20-year-old Cameroonian international, could finish the season away from Marseille. After being loaned to Dunkerque between January and May 2024, the young forward is now heading towards Belgium, where Molenbeek is actively working to recruit him as part of a transfer, according to L'Equipe. He has never been called up to the group since the start of the season and does not fit into Roberto De Zerbi's plans.
