Franco Mastantuono Transfer from River Plate to Arsenal

Arsenal is among the clubs following the talented teenager Facundo Mastantuono, who has a release clause in his contract worth €45 million. Mastantuono cannot move permanently until he turns 18 in August. An unnamed source close to the deal stated: 'There is nothing concrete and there won’t be in winter. We will have to wait until summer. Many have started conversations, but nothing concrete.'

Arsenal is monitoring Franco Mastantuono's progress, with intentions to renegotiate his release clause potentially using a structured payment similar to other young prospects.

Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Franco Mastantuono's situation, with a move to England becoming a possibility after Madrid stepped back from the competition. Madrid had been leading in the pursuit of the River Plate prodigy, having observed him multiple times. Nevertheless, after River Plate secured a new contract with Mastantuono, his release clause was set at €45m (£37.3m / $46.9m), a price Madrid considered excessive, leading President Florentino Perez to decide to withdraw their interest. This decision has opened the door for clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea to show interest in the Argentine U20 international.
