Casarano recently confirmed the acquisition of young goalkeeper Francesco Gattuso from Crotone. Francesco Gattuso, a relative of former Italian midfielder and current Hajduk Split coach Gennaro Gattuso, was born in 2005. He developed through Crotone's youth academy, featuring in their Under 17 and Under 19 squads, and spent the previous season with Victor San Marino, where he made two appearances in Serie D, Girone D.
