Francesco Camarda Transfer from Milan U19 to Borussia Dortmund
Francesco Camarda has signed his first professional contract with Milan at the beginning of the summer. This decision came after a delay initially planned for March 10th, his 16th birthday. The delay was due to prioritizing the contract of Maximilian Ibrahimovic first. Camarda has enormous potential, and important foreign clubs like Borussia Dortmund were showing significant interest.
Francesco Camarda received an approach from Borussia Dortmund, who proposed a more lucrative contract and a tailored development path to lure him away from Milan.
Francesco Camarda has signed his first professional contract with Milan, extending his stay until 2027. He rejected offers from major European clubs including Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund had tried to acquire Francesco Camarda a couple of times, but the player always responded with 'No, thanks'. Before reaching an agreement with Milan for the renewal of the contract, he was also linked to other clubs including Inter, but in Italy no concrete approaches were ever made to take Camarda away from the Rossoneri.
Francesco Camarda is nearing his first professional contract with Milan. The sixteen-year-old centre-forward is expected to sign after July 1st, with a three-year proposal - it's not possible to do more as a minor - and a salary of almost a million euros per season. In recent weeks, he has also been followed by Borussia Dortmund, as well as the English big clubs. However, good relations between the parties and the intention to include him in the Under23 immediately, with a view to the first team, have registered a significant approach. Therefore, the situation is quite clear: Camarda is getting closer and closer to permanence.
Camarda had between a 25 and 30% chance of staying at Milan a few weeks ago. Borussia Dortmund, a team that has no difficulty in launching young players, wanted him. They made themselves heard directly, they wanted the jewel to try to insert him as soon as possible in the team. The meeting the day before yesterday served to lay the foundations for an agreement with Milan, however. The parties have come closer and there is room for maneuver, so much so that from the 30% - maximum - that they were, the chances of Camarda staying have risen to around 65-70%. There is confidence for an agreement, but this does not mean that there is already one. The intention is to bet heavily on him, maybe buying only two forwards and using him as a second reserve. Also because in C something can change. In addition to Dortmund, there were other English clubs, but the situation seems almost outlined: Camarda will sign, possibly, after June 30, with his agreement that will be valid until he is nineteen. When he will know how his experience in red and black went and will choose whether to stay and sign a longer contract. He can do it from the age of majority.
Foreign clubs have called offering a contract. Among them, Borussia Dortmund and the two Manchester teams, United and City. However, in recent days, Milan and his agents have found an in-principle agreement. Camarda wants to stay at Milan.
