Fran Navarro was loaned to Olympiakos in January after struggling to gain the confidence of FC Porto's then-coach. Despite playing only 273 minutes in 10 matches for FC Porto, Navarro had a successful stint in Greece, significantly increasing his playtime and scoring five goals. Olympiakos had an option to buy him for 7.5 million euros, but they decided against it due to the high cost. He will now participate in FC Porto's pre-season, with his future dependent on the new coach Vítor Bruno and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.
