Man City have been linked with the attacking midfielder in recent months.

Florian Wirtz has had an excellent season with Bayer, making 49 appearances, scoring 18 goals and assisting 20. He is linked with a transfer to Manchester City. His contract is valid until the summer of 2027. He is also expected to play for Germany in the upcoming European Championship.

Wirtz will stay with Bayer Leverkusen next season despite offers from major European clubs including Manchester City. However, the player will not leave Leverkusen this summer.
