Filip Szymczak leaving Lech Poznań?

Lech Poznań is considering acquiring a new striker, which would allow them to loan out Filip Szymczak to another club. The exact club for potential loan is not yet known.

Filip Szymczak, a 22-year-old homegrown player of Lech Poznań, is advised to find a new club to continue his career. Despite having received many opportunities and significant faith placed in him, he did not meet expectations. It is possible that he will seek to redirect his career to a new club as early as January. However, Lech Poznań must first ensure their squad is appropriately reinforced before allowing him to leave.

Lech Poznań is considering a winter loan for Filip Szymczak. The striker has attracted interest from five Ekstraklasa clubs, with GKS Katowice showing the most serious interest, as reported by Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl. Szymczak has previously played for GKS Katowice on loan during the 2021/2022 season, making 32 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

GKS Katowice was reported to have shown interest in Filip Szymczak during the summer. However, no transfer occurred, and he remained with Lech Poznań. His contract with Lech Poznań is valid until June 30, 2027.
