Federico Gatti Transfer from Juventus to Nottingham Forest
Federico Gatti is currently at risk of being sold by Juventus, especially considering the strained relationship with coach Thiago Motta. Despite playing regularly due to defensive issues, a convincing offer could lead to his departure. Nottingham Forest has shown strong interest in Gatti in recent weeks. Juventus had planned to extend Gatti's contract until 2029, with a salary increase from 1.4 to about 2.3 million euros per season, but this is currently on hold.
Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Juventus defender Federico Gatti. Juventus are open to selling Gatti for around €30-35 million to finance their transfer business. Gatti is a frequent starter at Juventus and could be transferred to bolster the club’s efforts to sign Feyenoord’s David Hancko.
Federico Gatti was approached by Nottingham Forest with an offer that included a more lucrative contract than what he had at Juventus. During the Golden Boy event in December, Nottingham Forest's president, Evangelis Marinakis, conveyed to Cristiano Giuntoli his keen interest in acquiring Gatti to strengthen their defense. Nonetheless, Gatti opted to turn down Nottingham Forest's proposal, choosing instead to concentrate on his future at Juventus and engage in discussions for a contract extension. He remains dedicated to a long-term stay with Juventus and is in the process of negotiating a new agreement.
