Hellas Verona FC has announced the signing of Faride Alidou on loan with an option to buy from Eintracht Frankfurt. The German forward, born in Hamburg on July 18, 2001, started his career in his hometown club's youth teams. He made his first team debut in the 2021/22 season. Alidou played 23 matches and scored 2 goals in his first Bundesliga season. In the 2022/23 season, he moved permanently to Eintracht Frankfurt, making 15 league appearances and 5 UEFA Champions League appearances, scoring against Tottenham. In the 2023/24 season, he was loaned to Cologne, where he played 26 matches and scored 4 goals. He has also represented Germany at the Under-20 and Under-21 levels.
Faride Alidou will spend the current season on loan at Serie A club Hellas Verona. Hellas Verona has an option to buy the player.
Hellas Verona has reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the offensive winger Faride Alidou. The player is expected to arrive in Verona in the evening to undergo medical examinations and then sign with the club. He will then be available for coach Zanetti for the Serie A season. The German player of Togolese origin will move on loan with an option to buy set at four million euros.
