Gremio showed interest in Facundo Cambeses, currently a backup goalkeeper at Racing behind Gabriel Arias, to replace Agustín Marchesín who was sold to Boca. Gremio made an offer of 2.5 million USD plus 500 thousand in bonuses, but Racing rejected the offer as they intend for Cambeses to eventually take over the starting position from Arias.
