Jorge Sampaoli, the new coach of Stade Rennais, is interested in recruiting Fabricio Bruno, a central defender and newly capped Brazilian international. Rennes had previously approached him this summer. No official offer has been made by Rennes yet, and Flamengo might be reluctant to let go of one of their key players easily.

Rennes has made an offer to acquire 90% of Fabricio Bruno's rights for 14.5 million euros (13.5 million euros plus 1 million in bonuses). The player would be offered a 4-year contract (currently tied until 2028 at Flamengo).
