Ezechiel Banzuzi leaving OH Leuven?

Ezechiel Banzuzi prefers to move to a mid-table club in a major league rather than signing with Club Brugge or PSV.

Ezechiël Banzuzi was initially on his way to AS Monaco, but the French top club decided to pull the plug on the transfer. This allowed West Ham to benefit and reach an agreement with Banzuzi and OH Leuven.

Ezechiel Banzuzi, a 19-year-old midfielder, has attracted interest from various foreign clubs due to his impressive performances over the last year and a half at OH Leuven. AS Monaco seemed to be the frontrunner for his signature, and negotiations with both the player and OH Leuven were almost complete. However, recent reports confirm that Monaco has definitively withdrawn from the deal.

AS Monaco is currently leading the chase for 19-year-old midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi from OH Leuven, despite interest from West Ham.

AS Monaco has been interested in Ezechiel Banzuzi for a while and has now reached a personal agreement with the midfielder. A club-level agreement is also expected, with Monaco offering a sum that can exceed 13 million euros. This is a record amount for OH Leuven, although they will have to share part of it with his former club, NAC Breda. West Ham United is also considering a last-minute attempt to hijack the transfer.

Ezechiel Banzuzi, the Jong Oranje-international, is reported to have reached a personal agreement with AS Monaco. OH Leuven, his current club, is also said to be nearing an agreement with the Monegasque club. Leicester City had shown interest previously, but it is believed that Monaco offered a more appealing plan for the 19-year-old midfielder. Leuven is anticipated to receive up to thirteen million euros for the transfer, including bonuses. Furthermore, NAC, Banzuzi's former club, stands to gain from a 12.5% resale percentage that was part of their previous deal with Leuven.

Ezechiel Banzuzi, a prominent player at OH Leuven, has been garnering considerable interest from several top-tier French clubs. OH Leuven is aiming to secure a transfer fee between 10 and 15 million euros for Banzuzi. Nonetheless, not all of this sum will be retained by OH Leuven, as NAC Breda is entitled to 12.5% of the profit from the transfer. Banzuzi was originally acquired by OH Leuven from NAC Breda for 1.2 million euros. While OH Leuven would prefer to retain Banzuzi until the summer, the chances of this occurring appear to be low.

Ezechiel Banzuzi is drawing interest from clubs in Ligue 1, suggesting his potential move to France is being considered.
