Atlético de Madrid is closely monitoring Evertton Araújo, a 21-year-old midfielder from Flamengo. This is the second time Atlético has shown interest in him, having previously followed him since he was in the U-20 team. Araújo has a contract with Flamengo until the end of 2026, with a release clause of seven million euros. In 2023, Flamengo's management bought an additional 40% of his economic rights for just over 135,000 euros, making Flamengo's total share 70%, with the remaining 30% held by his former club, Volta Redonda.
