Bahia has confirmed the signing of forward Erick Pulga, who emerged as the top scorer of Série B in 2024 with 13 goals, significantly contributing to Ceará's promotion to the top tier. Although there was interest from Corinthians, no official proposal materialized. Erick Pulga had been under contract with Ceará until the end of 2025. Bahia paid 3 million dollars (approximately R$ 18.3 million) for the transfer, with Ceará retaining around 2 million dollars (R$ 12 million). Erick Pulga has signed a contract with Bahia extending until December 2029. The 24-year-old forward is now integrated into the squad managed by Rogério Ceni, which is set to conduct its pre-season training in Girona, Spain.
