Galatasaray sold their young defender Emin Bayram to the Belgian team Westerlo. It was announced that the yellow-red club gave the 21-year-old defender for 4 million euros plus a 50% share from the next sale. Additionally, the priority to buy back Emin Bayram was also included in this agreement.

Galatasaray announced that Emin Bayram has been transferred to Westerlo for 4 million Euros. Galatasaray will receive 50% of any future transfer fee if Emin is sold to another club. Galatasaray also retains the right of first refusal to buy back the player.

Westerlo, Galatasaray and Emin Bayram have reached an agreement on all terms. The player is going to Belgium for a medical examination. Last season, Emin Bayram spent a successful period with the Belgian team. However, Galatasaray fans found the transfer fee of 2.5 million euros too low and expressed their dissatisfaction on social media. In response, the Galatasaray management temporarily halted the transfer.
